These alloys combine high mechanical performance with good machinability and a wide range of processing options. For example, Alu4S-15\u2122 offers high strength and optimal formability, ideal for safety shoes, body armor and military bridges, while Alu4S-18\u2122 combines extra corrosion resistance with strength for bicycle &amp; motorcycle parts such as chainwheels and sprockets. Alu4S-25\u2122 and Alu4S-26\u2122 deliver excellent formability and tear resistance, with Alu4S-26\u2122 being specifically suited for thicker sheets in logistics applications such as pallets and air freight containers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">For applications where strength and corrosion resistance come together, such as sprockets, personal protection and air cargo containers (ULD), Alu4S-28\u2122 is the right choice. The latest generation of alloys, Alu4S-35\u2122 and Alu4S-38\u2122, combine high strength with good weldability and corrosion resistance and are widely used in air freight, bicycles and armor plating, among others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">In addition, Alu4S also offers unique variants\u2122 for specialized applications. Alu4S-44\u2122 combines properties from existing ranges into a high-performance alloy with excellent strength-to-weight ratio and is available up to 80 mm thick. Alu4S-51\u2122 consists of thick plates with uniform strength and excellent machinability, perfect for molds, hydraulic parts and tooling.
