Euralco not only supplies high-quality aluminium sheet material, but also offers extensive machining options to prepare the material immediately for use in our customers' production processes. Thanks to modern techniques, we can process plates extremely accurately and efficiently; fully tailored to the requested specifications.
In addition to the supply of individual plates, Euralco also offers complete laser-cut, plasma-cut, water-cut and milled parts and cutting packages through our network, in any desired thickness and size
Euralco also offers various surface treatments to optimally match the material to the customer's application. Depending on the requirements, aluminum can be treated to improve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, appearance , or processability .
Commonly used treatments are:
- Anodising – for a hard, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant oxide layer that can also be aesthetically pleasing in a variety of colours.
- Powder coating – a durable and protective finish that is both functional and decorative.
- Mechanical operations such as brushing, polishing or grinding to achieve a high-quality surface finish.
- Chemical pre-treatments (e.g. etching or chromating) in preparation for bonding, coating or lacquering.
Thanks to our close cooperation with specialized partners, we can supply profiles, sheets and extrusions with a wide range of finishes. In this way, we ensure that the material is not only technically satisfactory, but also aesthetically and functionally perfectly suited to the application of our customers.
Yacht building products
For yacht building, Euralco maintains a large stock of 5083 H111 plates measuring 2000 x 6000 mm, available in different thicknesses (mainly 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm) with both EN10204 - 3.1 and LRS 3.2 factory certificates. If desired, longer lengths can also be supplied on request with the same ease (up to 12m). Euralco also has a standard stock in 5/6.5 x 2000 x 6000 mm checker plates. In addition to the supply of individual plates, Euralco also offers complete laser-cut, plasma-cut, water-cut and milled cutting packages through our network, in any desired thickness and size, so that customers can immediately get started with their hull construction projects.
Aluminum Cutting Kits for Aluminum Boats
Euralco Europe supplies aluminium cutting packages for yacht building, based on the designs and technical drawings of our customers. Based on the production drawings, we put together complete packages with precisely cut aluminum parts that can be used directly in the construction process of aluminum boats.
Our cutting packages mainly use EN AW-5083 H111, an aluminum alloy used worldwide in the shipbuilding and marine industries. This alloy combines high strength with excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and very good weldability. This makes 5083 H111 particularly suitable for the construction of aluminum hulls, deck parts and other structural parts of boats.
Thanks to these material properties, aluminum cutting packages from 5083 H111 are ideal for the construction of aluminum sloops, aluminum tenders, workboats and other lightweight aluminum vessels. Aluminium boats also offer important advantages such as low weight, long lifespan and minimal maintenance requirements.
The process starts with the customer's drawings or 3D models. Based on this, the parts are nested and cut so that material use and production efficiency are optimal. The parts are then arranged and delivered as a complete package
Efficient nesting for optimal material yield
At Euralco, efficient use of materials is central. By means of advanced nesting software, we ensure that every part is cut out of the aluminum sheet material as smartly as possible. This results in minimal cutting loss, maximum efficiency and a sustainable production process.
As can be seen in the image below, the nested 5083 H111 sheet metal parts for shipbuilding show how carefully Euralco optimizes the extraction of the material. Each component is positioned to make full use of the available surface area, without compromising on tolerances or cut quality.

From Conceptual Design to Realisation
At Euralco, we support our customers from the very first phase of the conceptual design. Aluminium lends itself perfectly to innovative product development thanks to its versatility, low weight and high strength. For applications where, for example, deep drawing plays a crucial role, we supply specific alloys with excellent formability and reliability.
In particular, EN AW-1050 H0 – DDQ (Deep Drawing Quality) and EN AW-3105 are known for their excellent deep drawing performance. These alloys make it possible to realize complex shapes and thin-walled structures without the risk of cracking or material deformation. This makes them ideally suited for the production of food packaging, pharmaceutical trays and thin-walled technical components, among other things.
