Encouraging re-use of aluminium

Did you know that 75% of all aluminium ever produced, is still in use?

Due to the durability of the metal and its excellent recycling properties, present and future generations benefit. Aluminium recycling conserves energy and other natural resources. It requires up to 95% less energy to recycle aluminium than to produce primary metal. Thereby corresponding emissions are avoided.

Around the spindle of our CNC machine we integrated a high vacuum chip extraction system. By extracting the chips directly from the milling operation, we lead chips to our briquette press.

Why?

  • Chips are bulky. Prices in warehouses and truck transports are calculated per kg and m2. By compressing chips into briquettes, we save space, time and cost.
  • Through this alloy-specific closed loop with smelters, we encourage the re-use of aluminium at the lowest possible cost and highest return.
  • As aluminum can be recycled endlessly with minimal addition of energy, we contribute to a better world for present and future generations.
  • Upon request, we can take your chips and settle the invoice directly with the delivery of (machined) aluminium semi’s.

From aluminium we all benefit!
