Aluminium, consulting and material testing

In addition to the supply of high-quality aluminium, Euralco also offers its customers technical advice and support. With our extensive knowledge of alloys, material properties and machining processes, we think along with you from the design phase to production. We advise on the optimal choice of alloy, processing options and cost-efficient solutions, among other things.

In addition, we carry out extensive material tests in cooperation with accredited laboratories and manufacturers. This includes checking tensile strength, hardness, elongation and corrosion resistance, ensuring that each delivery meets both international standards and customer-specific requirements. This not only guarantees quality, but also gives our customers the certainty that the material is perfectly suited to the application.

Yacht building products

For yacht building, Euralco maintains a large stock of 5083 H111 plates measuring 2000 x 6000 mm, available in different thicknesses (mainly 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm) with both EN10204 - 3.1 and LRS 3.2 factory certificates. If desired, longer lengths can also be supplied on request with the same ease (up to 12m). Euralco also has a standard stock in 5/6.5 x 2000 x 6000 mm checker plates. In addition to the supply of individual plates, Euralco also offers complete laser-cut, plasma-cut, water-cut and milled cutting packages through our network, in any desired thickness and size, so that customers can immediately get started with their hull construction projects.

Coils, sheet material and platines

Euralco supplies a complete range of coils, plates and platines in mainly aluminium alloy groups: 1000, 2000, 5000, 6000 and 7000 series. Our coils are custom processed by means of decoiling, slitting and cutting to length, so that they fit seamlessly with the production processes of our customers. This enables us to deliver equipment that can be used immediately; from standard sheets and wide coils to precision-cut plates with tight tolerances, fully tailored to the wishes of our customer and his/her end user.

Custom Aluminum Profiles

Euralco specialises in the supply and extrusion of aluminium profiles in a wide range of alloys. Such as 6061 and 6082 profiles used in scaffolding construction and extrusions in 7000 alloys such as the 7010 aluminum bars used in safety equipment or 7075 in top sports applications where strength, light weight, durability, safety and performance under extreme conditions are decisive.

In addition to standard profiles, we also produce customer-specific extrusions based on supplied designs. From simple tubes and beams to complex dimensional profiles: Euralco delivers accurately, efficiently and fully tailored to the technical and functional requirements of the customer. As a result, we offer maximum design freedom and the opportunity to realize innovative solutions.

Editing options

Euralco not only supplies high-quality aluminium sheet material, but also offers extensive machining options to prepare the material immediately for use in our customers' production processes. Thanks to modern techniques, we can process plates extremely accurately and efficiently; fully tailored to the requested specifications.

Euralco also offers various surface treatments to optimally match the material to the customer's application. Depending on the requirements, aluminum can be treated to improve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, appearance , or processability .

Commonly used treatments are:

• Anodising – for a hard, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant oxide layer that can also be aesthetically pleasing in a variety of colours.
• Powder coating – a durable and protective finish that is both functional and decorative.
• Mechanical operations such as brushing, polishing or grinding to achieve a high-quality surface finish.
• Chemical pre-treatments (e.g. etching or chromating) in preparation for bonding, coating or lacquering.

Thanks to our close cooperation with specialized partners, we can supply profiles, sheets and extrusions with a wide range of finishes. In this way, we ensure that the material is not only technically satisfactory, but also aesthetically and functionally perfectly suited to the application of our customers.

From Conceptual Design to Realisation

At Euralco, we support our customers from the very first phase of the conceptual design. Aluminium lends itself perfectly to innovative product development thanks to its versatility, low weight and high strength. For applications where, for example, deep drawing plays a crucial role, we supply specific alloys with excellent formability and reliability.

In particular, EN AW-1050 H0 – DDQ (Deep Drawing Quality) and EN AW-3105 are known for their excellent deep drawing performance. These alloys make it possible to realize complex shapes and thin-walled structures without the risk of cracking or material deformation. This makes them ideally suited for the production of food packaging, pharmaceutical trays and thin-walled technical components, among other things.

Aluminium for top sport

At Euralco, we supply high-quality 6000 and 7000 series alloys, including 6061, 6082 and 7075, which are known for their high strength-to-weight ratio. These alloys are used in gears for racing bikes and motorsports, shock absorbers, rigging plates and carabiners for mountaineering and ice picks, among others. Thanks to its low weight and high performance, aluminum helps athletes and teams become faster, stronger and more efficient.
